We’ve been open for a month and the great weather is allowing for early season club-fitting and sales of your favourite clothing and essentials. We are once again offering equipment from PING and Callaway. Golf bag choices from both companies have been popular as well as bags and carts from Sun Mountain Sports. Clothing lines for 2010 include PING, Antigua, Loft 8°, Cracked Wheat, Nancy Lopez and EP Pro. The Adidas shoe line is as strong as ever with multiple styles for both men and women at very competitive pricing.

Sky Caddies are due to arrive soon with the price of the popular SG5 model from last year reduced from $475 to $350. The new SGX model has taken over the top price point at $465 and offers a higher resolution screen and some new features. Both models have colour displays and are easy to use. A number of members have improved their game through a better knowledge of the yardages associated with their various clubs.

The pro shop will be staffed again this season by CPGA Professionals Randy Panton, Garth Baulkham and Mike Martin. Shauna will be returning in late April following a successful 3rd year at UBC and a new face will be behind the counter on men’s night. Ty Husband has added those duties to his busy range and outside services schedule. We are all looking forward to serving our members and guest during the busy 2010 season.
