Hole number 18 was designed to truly challenge a golfer’s course management skills. It is a long, demanding, double dogleg par 5 requiring a big tee shot placed left of center to eliminate the second bend to the right. Drives hit down the right side will usually have the second shot landing area blocked by a stand of trees. The second shot must be hit right center onto a plateau to be able to see the surface of the small green guarded by very deep bunkers. Be careful reading your putt as shots from the back or left side of the putting surface run quickly past the hole.
